In the Custodianship of Bhai Roop Chand Ji's Descendants
The Living Legacy of Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji
For over 300 years, the descendants of Bhai Roop Chand Ji have carried the sacred shastars and artifacts bestowed by the sixth Guru. This tour brings those relics — and the story of their unbroken custodianship — to sangats across the country.

Sacred Relics Archive
Shastars & Artifacts of the Guru's Legacy
Each item on tour carries the direct blessing of Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji, entrusted to Bhai Roop Chand Ji and preserved by his descendants across three centuries. Together they form a rare, living link to the Guru's own court.
Lineage & History
Three Centuries of Devotion and Custodianship
The story begins with Bibi Surti Ji, whose faith at her own wedding drew a blessing from Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji — a blessing fulfilled in the birth of her son, Bhai Roop Chand Ji, named by the Guru himself. His devotion led to the founding of village Bhai Rupa and the entrustment of sacred relics to his family. For more than 300 years, each generation has taken up the responsibility of protecting and sharing this legacy — a custodianship that continues today.
